This is about being online in our digital age.
this is the blog post referenced in the video above:
ONLINE SECURITY IS IMPORTANT TO ME.
Which is why I am not selling anything on this website as of yet.
It is just not secure enough.
I am surfing the web on Chrome on an apple OS.
There are three levels of online security as recognized by chrome. These will look different on other web browsers and operating systems, but the concept is the same.
If you have your own blogger blog, look at this:

BTW, my visible bookmarks are :
1) a folder of websites that pay money for articles and written content
2) My favorite website ever, Marcel Theroux's website, www.thisworldofdew.com
3 and 4) this website
5) Bloglovin.com
6) thedailyshow.com
7) dailywritingtips.com
1: OPEN WEBSITE (this website - i'm working on it)
tips on browsing open websites
-do not give out credit or financial information over these websites
-do not visit any open website that requires a password while on a public wifi system
-never, never, never visit one of these websites while at a convention
-don't even take a laptop to DEFCON
-use a pencil at DEFCON, nothing else
-don't even wear a wifi tee to DEFCON
-wear an aluminum hat to DEFCON
-put tin foil on top of that hat

2: SECURE WEBSITE
these are much safer, but be careful of buying things here

-----------------------------
3: DIGITAL FUCKING FORTRESS
it is OK to buy things on websites like this, but at the same time, they are harder targets for more talented hackers
like when someone is learning how to skateboard, he doesn't go to the skate park at first, or he will go at night when no one's looking
hackers will start with open websites and move up to the big time
