Authority Figure

I was looking at another person's blog yesterday, and I was astounded by how professional it was. It was the real deal, the bee's fucking knees.

I wondered what it might be like to be such an authority figure on a subject.

I think I know a little bit about what it means to bullshit. So I did a search for the term bullshit in Google Trends.

The results were very interesting. Look! 👀

But look who's coming in 2nd! Looks like there's more to Darwin than meets the eye.

Generally, fuck it. Fuck being the authority on anything, because I'm not. I'm a writer, and the only authority I feel that doesn't require an exuberant amount of hubris is the self. I write this blog not because I want to give you an academic knowledge, but an experience. I'm not one for charts and graphs, but I'm trying to tell you a story.

I'm a storyteller. I'm a writer. This is my craft.
