My Towers

I am not sure if you are able to remember where you were on September 11, 2001, but I can remember where I was.
I was in elementary school at the time, and I remember seeing the images of the Twin Towers going up in flames on the television. Now people claim that it was all an elaborate hoax, like the moon landing. Well, if I had never had a television back then I might be persuaded to their belief. I do remember the images, though, of dead corpses being brought out by the firefighters from the rubble, the men jumping out of windows over a thousand feet in the air, the planes crashing into the towers - one after the other. I remember everything.
I also remember what our president at the time, George W. Bush, said as he stood in the White House press room, speaking to the whole world. We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail.
Soldiers, politicians, professors, and journalists - no matter who you were or where you were, that day was a sad occasion. It was in what has become known as the “aftermath” of 9/11 where we all got a little too patriotic, and confused. I ask you to take a look at the fall of the Towers tonight on YouTube tonight, and I want you to see if you can watch the plane hitting the Towers without feeling any anxiety at all. I know I can’t, and I’m not sure if I want to be able to.
So, if you are a conspiracy theorist, trying to undermine my eyes and my heart - fuck you too. I’m not going to hide my true emotions. Al Qaeda was responsible for the fall of the Twin Towers, and George W. Bush and his presidential administration did everything they could to protect the American value of justice. I love them for that.
I don’t know If I could have done a better job, because I was only an elementary school student at the time. I could have calmed my mother, but not the entire nation.
If you believe that the FBI or the CIA is responsible for the fall of the Towers, I will label you as an idiot. If you think that Harry Potter isn’t Christian - I say you are deprived of life. If you think that Marijuana is promoted in the bible, I tell you not to take things out of context. If you deny the Holocost, you are blind. If you think that the Texas Tea Party is the best thing to happen to the Republican Party, you are waaay too gulible. Haven’t you heard of this thing called “DISTANCE”? Historians know not to take things out of context - just like police officers know to protect and serve at all times (except when they are making money doing the opposite).
Fuck that.
